Founded in June 2016, Immigrants Development Alternatives (IDA) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves immigrants, refugees, newcomers, and other underserved communities.
IDA understands that successful integration requires more than one service. Individuals and families need access to education, employment, financial literacy, entrepreneurship support, trusted community networks, and opportunities to participate in decisions that affect their lives.
Through direct services, skills development, resource connections, and community partnerships, IDA helps individuals overcome barriers, pursue economic opportunities, and build stable, independent lives.
Our Mission
Immigrants Development Alternatives (IDA) empowers immigrants, refugees, and underserved communities by providing education, workforce development, entrepreneurship support, financial literacy, and access to essential resources.
Through culturally responsive programs, strategic partnerships, and community advocacy, IDA helps individuals and families overcome barriers, achieve economic self-sufficiency, and build pathways toward long-term stability, inclusion, and prosperity.
